The Directorate for Consumer Protection and the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity invited to a workshop on promoting repair
The Directorate for Consumer Protection and the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity engaged with key partners to discuss promoting repair.
Martine Hansen, Minister for Consumer Protection, stated: "To support consumers on the path to responsible consumption, it is essential to focus on promoting the repair of products. To achieve this, my services are working intensively on various options, particularly by analyzing the feasibility and relevance of introducing a repair bonus that would encourage consumers to repair rather than replace their products. It is also important for me to consult all stakeholders in advance to gather their opinions and perspectives, and to examine all options that will lead to better promotion of a repair culture."
