In view of the current situation and weather forecasts, the Ministry for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees and its partner Dräieck ASBL have decided to reopen the Winter Action night shelter (Wanteraktioun) until 28 April 2024.
Wanteraktioun is a humanitarian initiative aimed at preventing the homeless from falling victim to hypothermia during periods of extreme cold. It is set in the multifunctional emergency structure at Findel and generally runs from 15 November to 15 April.
The organisation of the accommodation and the supervision of the beneficiaries are provided by the Dräieck ASBL, which has been managing the Wanteraktioun since 1 January 2021. This association is made up of the three organisations Caritas accueil et solidarité, Croix-Rouge luxembourgeoise and Inter-Actions.
