Biography

Camille Gira was born on 2 June 1958 in Luxembourg City.

Camille Gira attended secondary school at the Athénée de Luxembourg and the Lycée Robert Schuman from 1970 to 1977.

Following the legislative elections of 20 October 2013, Camille Gira was appointed Secretary of State for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure on 4 December 2013 in the coalition government formed by the Democratic Party (DP), the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) and the Green Party (“déi gréng”).
