Claude Haagen was born on 18 May 1962 in Luxembourg City.
Following his secondary school studies at the Lycée classique de Diekirch, Claude Haagen obtained a master's degree in economic and social sciences at the University of Strasbourg in 1987.
On the occasion of the public celebration of the birthday of HRH the Grand Duke, members of the Grand Duke's family and the government attend the festivities organised in Grevenmacher, Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City on 22nd and 23rd June 2023.
On 30 March 2023, the Administrative Court confirmed the judgment of the Administrative Tribunal of 15 July 2022 annulling the decisions to withdraw the authorisations for placing on the market of eight plant protection products containing the active substance glyphosate.
On 30 March 2023 the Administrative Court confirmed the judgment of the Administrative Tribunal annulling the decisions to withdraw the marketing authorisations for 8 plant protection products containing the active substance glyphosate. As a result of this decision, the authorisations for the plant protection products in question will be reinstated as of the date of the judgment.
The various legal instruments relating to contraception, which enable the implementation of the programme of preventive medicine and universal access to contraceptives at national level, will enter into force on 1 April 2023.
