On 5 December 2018, HRH the Grand Duke conducted the swearing in of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Ministers and the appointed ministers.
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, represented by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider, and the Republic of Poland, represented by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Jadwiga Emilewicz, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start bilateral cooperation on space activities with particular focus on the exploration and utilization of space resources.
The Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, represented by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider, and the Czech Republic, represented by the Minister of Transport, Dan Ťok, signed a memorandum of understanding on a cooperation in the frame of space resources exploration and utilization.
The National Day of Remembrance is dedicated to the memory of the efforts made by the people of Luxembourg during the Occupation from 1940 to 1945. Several ceremonies were held in Luxembourg on October 7, 2018 to mark the occasion.
