Biography

Fernand Etgen was born on 10 March 1957 in Ettelbruck.

Fernand Etgen attended secondary school at the Lycée classique de Diekirch from 1971 to 1977.

Following the legislative elections of 20 October 2013, Fernand Etgen joined the government as Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Consumer Protection, Minister for Relations with Parliament on 4 December 2013 in the coalition government formed by the Democratic Party (DP), the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP) and the Green Party (“déi gréng”).
