"Increasing the supply of housing!": Reform of the land tax and the mobilisation of land and housing
Two days after its adoption by the Government, Minister for Home Affairs, Taina Bofferding, Minister for Housing, Henri Kox, and Minister of Finance, Yuriko Backes, today presented the bill on the land tax, land mobilisation tax and housing tax, as well as the bill on the national register of buildings and dwellings.

"Neischmelz" a national project for housing and culture
The government has just passed two financing bills to support the realization of the first phase of the new "NeiSchmelz" residential area in Dudelange with half a billion euros. In the center of the city of Dudelange, on an area of around 36 hectares, the former steel industry wasteland will be converted into a modern and ecological city district with a high quality of life and housing.

6th Intergovernmental Commission to strengthen cross-border cooperation
On 19 October 2021, the 6th meeting of the Franco-Luxembourg Intergovernmental Commission to strengthen cross-border cooperation (IGC) took place in Esch-Belval. The delegation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was led by Ms Corinne Cahen, Minister for the Greater Region, and that of the French Republic by Mr Clément Beaune, Secretary of State for European Affairs.
