  1. On the occasion of the public celebration of the birthday of HRH the Grand Duke, members of the Grand Duke's family and the government attended the festivities organised in Lellingen (municipality of Kiischpelt), Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City on 22nd and 23rd June 2022.

In the context of the recent vote of the new cultural heritage law, Minister of Culture Sam Tanson is pleased to invite all interested parties to one of four presentation and information meetings on the new paradigms that will apply to the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage in Luxembourg.

  4. On 8 December 2021, the awards ceremony for the National Literary Competition 2021 took place at the National Literature Centre in the presence of the winners. Josée Hansen from the literature and publishing unit of the Ministry of Culture represented Sam Tanson, minister of Culture, who was unable to attend.

  5. The government has just passed two financing bills to support the realization of the first phase of the new "NeiSchmelz" residential area in Dudelange with half a billion euros. In the center of the city of Dudelange, on an area of around 36 hectares, the former steel industry wasteland will be converted into a modern and ecological city district with a high quality of life and housing.
