On 24 May, Martine Hansen, Minister for Consumer Protection, met with the Fédération des Distributeurs Automobiles et de la Mobilité (FEDAMO). The meeting, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, addressed a number of important consumer protection issues, including the legal guarantee, depot-sales, repairs, price display and Autofestival.

The discussions highlighted a clear consensus, namely that consumers need professionals just as much as professionals need consumers, and that in order to make effective progress, it is essential to maintain close collaboration between the Consumer Protection Directorate and FEDAMO.

For this reason, it has been decided to intensify informal relations, including by organising awareness-raising and information webinars for FEDAMO members, to strengthen this collaboration and better respond to consumers' expectations and needs.
