The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, took part in the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) of the Council of the European Union, held in Brussels on 22 January 2024.

Following his meetings in Israel, Minister Bettel paid a working visit to Palestine, starting with a bilateral meeting with the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, and a visit to the Amari refugee camp and its medical facilities.

Xavier Bettel, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, is currently on a working visit to Israel and Palestine.

On 5 January 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, made a working visit to Berlin, where he was received by his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock.

This joint call for projects will take place in two phases. The first phase, between 15 November 2023 and 9 February 2024, will allow interested economic players to submit their projects (summary, planned research, timetable, budgets, etc.).

On 27 September 2023, the European Commission released the first report on the State of the Digital Decade. The report analyses the collective progress made by the EU towards achieving Europe's digital transition until 2030.

Luxembourg and Iceland share close bilateral relations based on longstanding ties between the two governments, economies and peoples. Today's bilateral meeting between Prime minister Bettel and Prime minister Jakobsdóttir in Luxembourg allowed them to follow up after an earlier meeting in May this year in Reykjavik at the margins of the Council of Europe Summit.

From 25 to 27 July 2023, the Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, is paying a visit to the Republic of Korea. The visit marks the 70th anniversary of the signing the Korean War Armistice (1950-1953).
