Biographie
After his primary and secondary school studies in Luxembourg, Luc Frieden obtained a master's degree in business law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in France in 1986. The following year he continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge (Queens' College) in the United Kingdom, where he obtained a Master of Comparative Law (LLM). In 1988, he completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Harvard Law School in the United States.

Accession to the Throne – 5 October 2025
In the presence of members of the Grand Ducal Family, members of the Government, members of Parliament, as well as representatives of the Council of State, the judiciary, the municipal council of Luxembourg City, and the diplomatic corps, a solemn Mass with Te Deum is celebrated under the presidency of the Archbishop of Luxembourg, Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Luxembourg (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Luxembourg).
