UAS Professional Forum - Online Webinar (16.12.2021)

Since the entry into force of the EU Drone Regulation, the volume of UAS operations in Luxembourg has been constantly rising.

Among the various challenges, the “SPECIFIC” category raises numerous questions with regard to the legal background and national specificities. Furthermore, the multiple rules and procedures which need to be mastered by professional operators warrant a deeper analysis and discussion.

As part of the continuous improvement of its services, the Direction de l’Aviation Civile (DAC) is  pleased to host its 1st UAS Professional Forum. The purpose of this Forum is to promote an efficient communication between the professional operators of Luxembourg and DAC on the various regulatory aspects as well as to address eventual needs and expectations.

Purpose of the Forum

This online Forum aims to cover the following topics in the “SPECIFIC” category:

  • Legal operational framework defined by the EU Regulation
  • Presentation and discussion on typical activities (e.g. urban operations with heavy UAS, spraying, etc.)
  • Lessons learned from authorizations already delivered
  • Future developments

In order to ensure a successful webinar, the input and active participation of each participant are key factors. Participants are therefore invited to submit all questions, comments and other topics or data of interest regarding the “SPECIFIC” category to the following email address:  uas@av.etat.lu by 15 November 2021 COB

We will provide our best effort to answer as many questions as possible during the Forum.
