Max Hahn was born on 30 April 1981 in Luxembourg.

Education and qualifications

He is a trained industrial engineer.

Governmental posts

On 15 June 2023, following the honourable resignation of Corinne Cahen, Max Hahn joined the coalition government between the Democratic Party (DP), the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP) and the Green Party (déi gréng) as Minister for Family Affairs and Integration and Minister for the Greater Region.

Following the legislative elections of 8 October 2023, Max Hahn was appointed Minister for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees on 17 November 2023 in the coalition government between the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the Democratic Party (DP).

Other political posts

In 2005 he became a member of the municipal council of Dippach, becoming its first alderman following the 2011 elections. In December 2013, he was appointed to Parliament and was re-elected in the 2018 parliamentary elections.

Professional activities

Trained as an industrial engineer, he worked for four years for an engineering company in the field of energy consulting. He was also appointed training officer for the professional fire fighters of the City of Luxembourg.
