In the name of the government of Luxembourg we would like to confer to you our congratulations on the recently declared independence of Montenegro.
In line with yesterday’s conclusions of the Council of the European Union, we are delighted to inform you that the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is as of today recognising the Republic of Montenegro as a sovereign and independent State.
We are looking forward to working with you and your government to develop fruitful relations between our two countries and strive together for a stable and prosperous Montenegro pursuing its path towards joining the European family of nations.
