Extension of health measures for air travel to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Health would like to inform that the health measures applying to people over 12 years old entering Luxembourg territory by air are extended until October 18, 2021 inclusive, with the exception of provisions regarding persons who stayed in India in the 14 days preceding their arrival on Luxembourg territory.

For the week of 6 to 12 September, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 has decreased from 573 to 553 (-4%), while the number of their identified close contacts has increased from 1,112 to 1,477 cases (+33%).

Vaccination and testing, the path back to normality
On 2 September 2021, the Minister for Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, and the Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, presented the COVID-19 health scheme (Stufeplang) which will apply from the start of the 2021-2022 school year. As in the previous year, the objective of the health system remains “Maximal Chancë fir d'Bildung, minimal Chancë fir de Virus”.
