Le ministre du Trésor, Luc Frieden, et l’ambassadeur du Danemark à Luxembourg, Ole Harald Lisborg, ont procédé aujourd’hui à Luxembourg à la signature d’un protocole d’avenant à l’accord de non-double imposition entre le Danemark et le Luxembourg.
Le protocole prévoit l’échange d’informations sur demande dans des cas individuels entre les administrations fiscales des deux pays. Il s’applique aux années fiscales 2010 et suivantes. L’accord n’a pas pour objet un échange automatique d’informations bancaires et n’autorise pas des demandes générales (fishing expeditions).
Ce traité est le 5e accord signé par le Luxembourg conforme à l’ensemble des standards fiscaux de l’OCDE. L’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE) a été dûment informée de la conclusion de cet accord.

On 4 June 2009, the Luxembourg Minister of the Treasury, Luc Frieden, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Luxembourg, Ole Harald Lisborg, signed a Protocol updating the avoidance of double tax treaty between Denmark and Luxembourg.
The Protocol provides for exchange of information upon request and in specific cases among the tax administrations of both countries. The agreement does not allow for general requests (fishing expeditions), nor does it foresee an automatic information exchange procedure. The protocol has no retroactive effect and will apply as of the tax year 2010.
The Protocol signed today is Luxembourg’s 5th agreement which is fully compliant with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) international standards of fiscal cooperation. The OECD has been duly informed about the signature of the agreement.
