First day of the mission to South Korea: meeting with the President of the Republic Seok-Youl Yoon, Korea Space Forum and Luxembourg-Korea Business Forum on the agenda
agenda (28.11.2022) The official economic mission to South Korea, presided over by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and led by the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, opened on 28 November with the participation in two key events - the Korea Space Forum and the Luxembourg-Korea Business Forum - as well as a meeting with President Seok-Youl Yoon and the signing of two memoranda of understanding.

New COVID-19 cases - Weekly review: 14 - 20 November 2022
During the week of 14 to 20 November, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 increased to 1,057 cases, compared to 913 cases the previous week.

HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and Franz Fayot on an economic mission to South Korea followed by a working visit to Japan
From 27 to 29 November 2022, HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke will preside over an economic mission to the Republic of Korea which will be led by the Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot, accompanied by the Director General of the Chamber of Commerce, Carlo Thelen. The trip is organised on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Luxembourg and South Korea.

Transposition of the Omnibus Directive - new rights for consumers living and buying in Luxembourg
On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the Chamber of Deputies voted on bill 7904 amending the Code of Consumption for the purposes of transposing directive (EU) 2019/2161, known as Omnibus. With the entry into force of this law, consumers will have their rights increased whether when shopping online or in stores.
