Working visit of H.R.H. the Grand Duke and Franz Fayot to Laos - third and fourth day
H.R.H. the Grand Duke and the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Franz Fayot, paid a working visit to Laos from 5 to 8 December 2022. The agenda for the last two days included a visit to the projects of the Luxembourg Cooperation in the localities of Phonhong and Vang Vieng, as well as a cultural visit to the city of Luang Prabang.

Test of the national warning system: zonal alert SMS, sirens and test message on the GouvAlert-app
As part of the reform of the national warning system, the government will continue to implement its national warning system testing strategy on Monday 5. December 2022 by carrying out the monthly test of the siren network and sending an alert SMS to the population in a specific area, as well as a test message on the GouvAlert application.

Second day of the official mission to South Korea: Inauguration of a new manufacturing plant of Rotarex and visit to the War Memorial
The second day of the official economic mission to South Korea, chaired by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke and led by Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot, was dominated by the official inauguration of Rotarex's new state-of-the-art production site in Asan City and by an official visit to the War Memorial, in honour of Luxembourg volunteers who fell during the Korean War.

Benelux Summit
The Benelux Summit was held on 28 November 2022 at Bourglinster Castle as part of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Benelux Union. The Luxembourg Presidency focused on three priorities: emerging stronger from the pandemic, promoting synergies with neighbouring regions and working towards a green, safe and competitive Benelux.
