COVID-19: Launch of vaccination by appointment in Luxembourg pharmacies from 26 February
From 26 February, it is possible to get vaccinated in pharmacies, without waiting for the invitation by post. Anyone aged 12 and over can make an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination at the various participating pharmacies.

Nuvaxovid vaccine (Novavax): Use of COVID-19 vaccine from 1 March at noon (12pm) in vaccination centres
Following the recommendations of the High Council for Infectious Diseases (CSMI) issued on 23 February 2022, the Government Council of 25 February decided to extend the range of vaccines in order to include the new Nuvaxovid vaccine (Novavax).

In view of the favourable evolution with regards to hospitalisations of patients with COVID-19, both in intensive and in normal care, the national Crisis Cell, in agreement with the Fédération des hôptiaux luxembourgeois (FHL), has decided to lower the surge plan to phase 2.

COVID-19 vaccination centres: closure of the centre Luxexpo The Box and reopening of the centre Hall Victor Hugo
The temporary vaccination centre at Luxexpo The Box (Luxembourg-Kirchberg) will close on 5 March 2022. It will be replaced by the Hall Victor Hugo vaccination centre in Limpertsberg which will reopen on 8 March 2022.
