Information on the changes to the rent subsidy that will apply as of 01.08.2022
The law providing for the upward adjustment of the rent subsidy and thus transposing an element of the spring tripartite agreement came into force on 1 August. However, when the new values were applied, it turned out that the version of the text submitted and voted by the Parliament and published in the Official Journal of Luxembourg contained a material error.

Monkeypox arrival of vaccines ordered through the European agency HERA
As foreseen in the European common procurement contract, 1,400 doses of vaccine have been delivered to Luxembourg. The vaccines were ordered through HERA, the European Agency for Health Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Jusqu'au 9 août 2022, dans 41 pays et zones de la région européenne, un total de 17.897 cas de variole du singe a été signalé aux autorités sanitaires European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) et à l'Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS), ce qui représente une augmentation de 1.971 cas depuis la semaine dernière.

Verlängerung der vorübergehenden Senkung des Verkaufspreises für Agrardiesel
Aufgrund des außergewöhnlichen Anstiegs der Preise für Erdölprodukte infolge der internationalen Lage beschloss die Regierung, unter anderem, eine vorübergehende Senkung des Preises für Dieselkraftstoff, der ausschließlich für Arbeiten in Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau, in der Fischzucht und Forstwirtschaft genutzt wird, um 7,5 ct/l inkl. Steuern einzuführen.

Surface water precautions still necessary, but "Drinking water vigilance phase" lifted
The "vigilance phase" for the use of drinking water, which was proclaimed by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development and the Water management agency on 13 July, is lifted. The "awareness phase" remains in force.
