The operation of drones, except those conducted by UAS operators specifically authorized by the Grand Ducal Police as part of the festivities related to the transfer of power, are prohibited on:

1°   3rd October 2025 from 07.00 to 24.00 and on 5th October 2025 from 07.00 to 18.00 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-16” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: circle with a radius of 1.15km centered on 493638N 060756E.

 

2°   4th October 2025 at 17.30 to 24.00 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-17” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: circle with a radius of 2.1km centered on 493702N 060728E.

 

3°   4th October 2025 at 15.30 to 19.30 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-18” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: circle with a radius of 1.05km centered on 492824N 060452E.

 

4°   4th October 2025 at 12.30 to 16.30 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-19” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: circle with a radius of 1.1km centered on 495801N 055618E.

 

5°   4th October 2025 from 14.30 to 18.00 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-20” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: 005 54 21 E / 49 39 56 N;005 54 35 E / 49 40 13 N; 005 55 36 E / 49 40 07 N; 005 55 42 E / 49 39 12 N; 005 54 49 E / 49 39 05 N 005 54 26 E / 49 39 08 N; 005 54 11 E / 49 39 14 N; Bound LUX – BE; 005 54 21 E / 49 39 56 N.

 

6°   4th October 2025 from 11.30 to 14.00 in the geographical area “EL-UAS-TEVT-2025-21” with the following dimensions:

  • vertical limits: from the ground to a height of 120 m;
  • lateral limits: 006 26 01 E / 49 40 55 N; 006 25 58 E / 49 41 30 N; 006 26 59 E / 49 41 50 N; 006 27 33 E / 49 41 29 N; Bound LUX – DE; 006 26 43 E / 49 40 39 N.

 

This prohibition does not apply to the following special operations carried out in the public interest:

a)    military, police, and customs missions,

b)    traffic surveillance and pursuits,

c)    search and rescue,

d)    medical flights,

e)    evacuations,

f)     firefighting.
