As part of the security measures in place for the « Joyeuse entrée », drone operations are strictly prohibited on October 2, 2026 within the EL-UAS-TEV-2026-11 zone:

• Vertical limits: from ground level up to 120 m
• Lateral limits : 493602N 0062119E – 493749N 0062346E – 493709N 0062516E – along the German-Luxembourg border – 493523N 0062230E – 493602N 0062119E 

unless prior authorisation has been granted by the Grand Ducal Police.

This ban does not apply to the following specific operations carried out in the public interest:

1. military, police and customs missions,
2. traffic surveillance and pursuits,
3. search and rescue,
4. medical flights,
5. evacuations,
6. firefighting.
