On 19th November 2021, Franz Fayot, Minister of the Economy, will be attending the Intermediate Ministerial Meeting (IMM) of the European Space Agency (ESA) to be held in Porto.
The meeting will allow Luxembourg to take stock at ESA's activities and discuss the preparation of the Space Summit 2022, which aims at jointly defining Europe's ambition in space for the next decade at the highest political level.
The IMM meeting will also be the first step in preparing the ESA's Ministerial meeting 2022, in close articulation with ESA's executives, and represents therefore a key milestone in the further development of the national space strategy.
