The fourth Cyber Security Directors' Meeting organised by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) brought together a total of 26 directors from the European authorities responsible for cyber security to discuss current national, European and international cyber security challenges. The focus of this year's meeting was on the challenges posed by new EU legislation such as the NIS 2 Directive in relation to cybersecurity. In the interests of a coherent approach across Europe, the directors discussed, for example, how they would like to jointly tackle IT security incidents at multinational companies in the future.

The directors' meeting, organised by the BSI in collaboration with the Munich Cyber Security Conference, offers participants the opportunity to discuss strategic options for action in terms of European cooperation once a year since 2020.
