On 20 April 2022, Marc Hansen, Minister Delegate for Digitalisation and Minister for the Civil Service, received the new US Ambassador to Luxembourg, H.E. Thomas M. Barrett, at the Hôtel de Bourgogne.

During their meeting, the two men discussed extensively the projects aimed at pushing forward the digitalisation of Luxembourg, in particular the importance of digital inclusion in preventing a division of society.
Marc Hansen and Thomas M. Barrett also discussed the effects of the health crisis on the development of telework in the Luxembourg civil service.
