François Bausch was first received by Robert Courts, Minister for Aviation, Maritime and Security for an interview in London.

Minister Bausch expressed his thanks for the good cooperation in the field of aviation after the Brexit.

The two ministers had the opportunity to exchange views on Sustainable Aviation Fuel and decarbonizing in the aviation sector. In this context, they reaffirm the importance of investing in the production of sustainable aviation fuel based on renewable energy in order to comply with the European Commission's "Fit for 55" directives.

During their meeting, Robert Courts also expressed interest in strengthening cooperation between the two countries in this area.

François Bausch also took the opportunity of his stay in London to attend the MOVE 2022 conference, which takes place from 15 to 16 June 2022.

This is a mobility event focused on disruptive technology and innovation. The event was a key opportunity for many representatives, such as transport operators, technology companies, fleets and energy companies to exchange views on key mobility issues.

The Minister gave a presentation on free public transport in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its effects on the society and the economy. The event was also an opportunity to present the Modu 2.0 strategy and the National Mobility Plan 2035.
