As part of the reform of its subsidy policy and following the workshop dedicated to "Cultural press and culture in the press", which was held on 14 July 2022 at Les Rotondes, the Ministry of Culture has rethought its support for cultural periodicals, the quality and diversity of which will now be promoted through a call for applications. Financial predictability and sustainability will be guaranteed by a contract awarded to the magazines selected by a jury.
The grant is aimed at publishers of cultural periodicals and is intended to encourage the development and dissemination of magazines; it will be paid annually at the beginning of the year, on the basis of an annual publishing programme.
