To improve the traceability of the second pillar of retirement provision, two new services relating to supplementary pension schemes are now available online at MyGuichet.lu, providing access to authentic sources made available by the General Inspectorate of Social Security (IGSS).
Insured persons who are members of a supplementary pension scheme set up by their employer or a supplementary pension scheme for the self-employed can consult information on the pension schemes to which they are affiliated and the rights they have acquired under these schemes.
This authentic source can be accessed in the private area of MyGuichet.lu under the "My data" tab by selecting "Supplementary pension" in the "Employment" section.
Similarly, companies that have set up a supplementary pension scheme for the benefit of their employees will be able to consult related information made available by the IGSS, such as the nature and activation date of registered pension plans, the compliance status of their supplementary pension scheme, funding and the number of employees affiliated to the scheme.
To access data concerning its supplementary pension scheme, the company must have a professional space on MyGuichet.lu and must certify it by means of an access code that will be sent to it by the IGSS.
It should be noted that for the two IGSS authentic source consultation services, only data relating to the 2022 and subsequent financial years can be consulted and will only be available on condition that the supplementary pension scheme manager has communicated the required data to the IGSS.
As part of its efforts to digitalise its communications with companies in relation to their supplementary pension schemes, IGSS is also planning to introduce, in a second phase, an eDelivery service via the secure MyGuichet.lu platform.
