OECD Global Forum and Ministerial Meeting in Luxembourg "Building Trust and Reinforcing Democracy"

Under the chairmanship of the Minister of Justice, Sam Tanson, ministers and high-level representatives from 38 OECD countries, as well as candidate countries, will meet in Luxembourg on 18 November for the OECD Ministerial Meeting on Public Governance to propose concrete actions to address the pressing challenges democracies face today. Colombia, France, Lithuania and the United States are co-chairing the Ministerial Meeting.

A ministerial declaration and other key outcomes will be presented at the end of the meeting during a press conference with Sam Tanson, Minister of Justice, and Kerri-Ann Jones, OECD Deputy Secretary General.

The Ministerial meeting will be preceded on 17 November by the OECD Global Forum on Reinforcing Trust and Democracy, which will bring together more than 50 speakers from government, civil society, business and academia to provide broader perspectives on these key challenges and present their views for consideration by the Ministers the following day.
