– the country's portal adopts the Luxembourg Signature

On 5 December, Inspiringluxembourg has become part of, the official portal of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. At the same time, adopts the country's common signature and benefits from new functionalities.

A complete makeover

The brand new edition of the website has been completely redesigned adopting the visual identity of the 'Luxembourg – Let's make it happen' brand and it now integrates elements of the country's common signature. To optimise the country's promotional efforts, the website, together with its toolbox dedicated to those wishing to promote Luxembourg, is now part of the new website.

Through this merger, internet users will be able to consult all promotional tools and information at a unique address.

Restructured content

Faithful to its mission of presenting Luxembourg in all its forms, the site has kept a structure which allows to show all the different facets of life in Luxembourg, while offering an easy navigation. The five sections of the site create an environment in which the user is invited to browse and discover its contents.

The new site will regularly feature themes covering various topics. These themes will be developed in consultation with external partners, which allows to cover major national or international events, as well as current topics or sectors in which the country excels.

Come and explore

Discover Luxembourg through short quizzes or surveys, unusual and sometimes surprising information in the form of Quick Facts, as well as Luxembourgish expressions or words. This playful approach has been chosen to encourage internet users to browse the site and discover content that may be of interest to them.

An accessible site

The components of the site have been evaluated to ensure that people with specific needs can access the content.

About the site is the official portal of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Its missions consist in promoting Luxembourg abroad through its website, providing information on certain aspects of the country and guiding internet users to relevant partners.

It is edited by the Information and Press Service of the Government (Service information et presse du gouvernement, SIP). The toolbox is managed by the team in charge of branding and promotion within the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

The new site was created in close collaboration with the Government IT Centre (CTIE), which also hosts it.

Currently, some 2,000,000 unique visitors visit the site each year. About a third of visitors connect from Luxembourg, followed by France, Germany, the United States and Belgium. is online since 2009. The site is available in English, French and German.
