Exceptional closure of the Luxembourg City Medical Centre

The Luxembourg City Medical Centre will be exceptionally closed on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2026 due to essential works on the building's main electrical transformer.

Patients requiring a consultation with a general practitioner who are unable to contact their usual GP can attend either of the two other out-of-hours medical centres, which will remain open according to their usual opening hours:

• Ettelbruck Medical Centre: 110, avenue Lucien Salentiny, L-9080 Ettelbruck
• Maison médicale de Belval: 3-5, avenue du Swing, L-4367 Belvaux
• Opening hours of the medical centres:
  • Weekdays: from 8 pm to midnight
  • Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: from 8 am to midnight

The telephone helpline is available during the opening hours of the medical centres on (+352) 20 333 111.

The Ministry of Health and Social Security apologises for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure and thanks patients for their understanding.
