Information on the extension of the temporary protection certificate
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Luxembourg, like all EU Member States, applied the temporary protection mechanism for people fleeing Ukraine starting in March 2022. This mechanism, initially applicable for a period of 12 months from its activation and then prolonged until 4 March 2024, has been extended once again.
