Digital IKI – Intangible Cultural Heritage goes digital
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) designates as intangible cultural heritage ("Immateriellt Kulturierwen”, IKI) oral traditions and forms of expression, including language, performing arts, social customs, rituals and festive events, knowledge and practices relating to nature, and crafts that people themselves consider as part of their cultural heritage.

COVID-19: Luxembourg grants access to the SATMED platform free of charge
In the light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Government of Luxembourg will make the access to the SATMED platform available free of charge for healthcare professionals’ community of selected health organisations to fight the pandemic.

Covid-19: Launch of the CON-VINCE Study
The Research Luxembourg COVID-19 task force announces the launch of “CON-VINCE”, a study that aims to evaluate the dynamics of the spread of the COVID-19 disease within the Luxembourgish population. The project is one of the several initiatives put in place under the aegis of the task force to help contain the current pandemic.

Emergency indemnities of 2,500 euros for the self-employed
The self-employed play an essential role in the Luxembourg economy and are also affected by the COVID-19 crisis. In order to support them financially, the Government approved today, on a proposal from the Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Lex Delles, a draft Grand Ducal regulation aimed at establishing a certified emergency indemnity of 2,500 euros in their favor.

Statement by Jean Asselborn on the transfer of twelve unaccompanied refugee minors to Luxembourg
I thank the Greek authorities and especially my friends, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias and the Alternate Minister Georges Koumoutsakos, as well as the officials of the UNHCR and the IOM for having contributed to concretise this gesture of solidarity with Greece and to offer the perspective of a dignified life to these young people in our country.

Declaration by Jean Asselborn on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the entry into force of the Schengen Agreements
Twenty-five years ago, on March 26th 1995, the provisions implementing the Schengen Agreements, which had been signed 10 years before, entered into force. These provisions included the removal of border controls which marked one of the most tangible achievements of European integration.
