  1. IMS Luxembourg is launching Handi-Diag, a tool to evaluate the place of disability in companies, produced in partnership with the Ministry of Family, Integration and the Greater Region, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy and the European Social Fund.

  2. On 30 March 2023 the Administrative Court confirmed the judgment of the Administrative Tribunal annulling the decisions to withdraw the marketing authorisations for 8 plant protection products containing the active substance glyphosate. As a result of this decision, the authorisations for the plant protection products in question will be reinstated as of the date of the judgment.

  3. In May 2022, the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region and its partners launched the awareness campaign "I can vote". The aim is to inform non-Luxembourg residents of their right to vote in the municipal elections on 11 June 2023 and to make them aware of the need to register on the electoral rolls by 17 April 2023 at 5pm.

  4. On Thursday, 30 March, Minister of Finance, Yuriko Backes, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, Joëlle Welfring, and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Kris Peeters, presented a financing agreement between Luxembourg and the EIB to fund the ecological restoration of the Alzette river and its tributary, the Pétrusse.

  6. On 28 and 29 March 2023, the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, paid a working visit to Chile. In Santiago, the head of Luxembourg's diplomacy was the first foreign minister to be received by Chile's new Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Alberto van Klaveren, who took office just three weeks ago.

  7. On 27 March 2023, Franz Fayot, Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, and Yuriko Backes, Minister of Finance, signed with Alfred Hannig, Executive Director of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, the extension of the cooperation agreement with the European Representative Office of AFI during an official ceremony at the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology.

  8. The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, Joëlle Welfring, represented Luxembourg at the United Nations Water Conference 2023, the first since 1977, which took place from 21 to 24 March 2023 at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The conference was a great success and provided decisive answers to the global water crisis.
