Ministers and high-level representatives from the 38 OECD member and candidate countries met in Luxembourg in November 2022 to reaffirm their shared commitment to defending and strengthening the democratic values that unite them at the Ministerial Meeting on Public Governance, which focused on "Building Trust and Reinforcing Democracy".

Test of the national warning system: zonal alert SMS, sirens and test message on the GouvAlert-app
As part of the reform of the national warning system, the government will continue to implement its national warning system testing strategy on Monday 6. March 2023 by carrying out the monthly test of the siren network and sending an alert SMS to the population in a specific area, as well as a test message on the GouvAlert application.

On 2nd March 2023, the Minister for Family Affairs and Integration, Corinne Cahen, presented a mid-term review of the "I can vote" awareness campaign and the latest figures on the registration rate of non-Luxembourgish residents in the National Register. On this occasion, she was accompanied by Emile Eicher, president of SYVICOL, who represents Luxembourg's 102 municipalities.

Training of official guides of the City of Luxembourg for "Luxembourg: old quarters and fortifications", UNESCO World Heritage
On 2 March 2023, Sam Tanson, Minister for Culture, Lydie Polfer, Mayor of the City of Luxembourg, and Serge Wilmes, alderman in charge of Tourism, congratulated the 87 official guides of the City of Luxembourg who had successfully completed the training courses organised by the Ministry of Culture on "Luxembourg: old quarters and fortifications", classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Campaign to raise awareness on sustainable finance
In response to the need to raise public awareness of sustainable finance, the Ministry of Consumer Protection, the ABBL Foundation for Financial Education, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and the Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d'Investissement (ALFI) have joined forces in an educational effort by launching a national information campaign in early March.
