On September 7, U.S. Embassy Luxembourg, Limpertsberg History Friends, and the Ghost Army Legacy Project unveiled a new monument in Limpertsberg dedicated to the Ghost Army, a special U.S. Army Unit that played a key role in the liberation of Luxembourg in WWII.

Cyanobacteria: the Luxembourg Water Management Agency and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology launch a mobile application
The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), with the support of the Administration de la gestion de l'eau (Water Management Agency), has adapted the "Bloomin'Algae" mobile application so that users of Luxembourg's water bodies can now notify the authorities of blooms of cyanobacteria, commonly known as "blue-green algae".
