Yuriko Backes, Minister for Gender Equality and Diversity, has dedicated her ministerial agenda for 8 March 2024 exclusively to International Women's Day. Convinced of the cross-disciplinary nature of equality, the Minister chose to involve all her portfolios in the day's planning.

Holders of valid ordinary Luxembourg passports travelling to China for business, tourism, family visits or transit purposes are exempt from the visa requirement for a maximum period of 15 days from 14 March 2024 to 30 November 2024.
