Temporary subsidy on the price of heat supply for households connected to a district heating network

Today, on 8 March 2023, the Chamber of Deputies approved Bill 8111, which introduces a temporary price subsidy on the price of heat supply for households connected to a district heating network.

To help households following the exceptional increase in energy prices due to the international situation, the government has introduced a state contribution measure to limit the price increase for heat supply to be paid by residential customers connected to a district heating network to approximately +15% compared to the average price level in September 2022. This measure applies from 1 October 2022 to 31 December 2023.
